This easy-to-use, non-pyrotechnic SOS light has no expiration date and no special disposal requirements, yet it does everything a signal device should do: the SOS Distress Light is family-safe, can be seen up to 10 nautical miles away, has built-in flotation, and includes a daytime signal flag. Can be handheld, tethered, or hoisted aloft. Simple twist-on operation; runs up to 6 hours at peak intensity or up to 60 hours total. Uses 3 C alkaline batteries (not included). Made in USA.
